Frequently asked questions

Is the app free?

Yes. Field & Fork PEI is free to download and free to use, both for visitors and for growers who claim a farm listing.

How do I add my farm?

Open the app and go to More → My farms → Add a farm. You'll be prompted to sign in with Apple, then walked through filling out your farm details. Growers may list up to 5 farms per account.

I'm a grower — how do I update what I have for sale today?

Inside the app, open your farm and tap New post. Type a quick update (e.g. “Strawberries are in! Open Sat 9–4”), optionally attach a photo, and publish. Your post appears immediately on the home feed for everyone nearby.

Why can't I see my exact location on the map?

Field & Fork only uses your approximate location, and only when you grant permission. If distances aren't showing, check that you've allowed location access in iOS Settings → Field & Fork.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to More → Account → Delete account. You can also request deletion via our account deletion page or by emailing us from the address linked to your account.

I think a listing has wrong information.

Listings are maintained by growers themselves. If something looks off, the fastest fix is contacting the farm directly through the buttons on their profile. If you're the grower and can't claim your own listing, email us and we'll help.

Does the app work outside Prince Edward Island?

Right now, no — Field & Fork is built specifically for PEI growers and visitors. If you'd like us to bring it to another region, let us know.

I found a bug or have an idea.

We'd love to hear it. Email hello@fieldandforkpei.ca with as much detail as you can — your iPhone model and iOS version help us reproduce issues.
